1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BeautiFind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
BeautiFind is an online marketplace operating in South Africa that connects beauty technicians ("Technicians") with clients seeking beauty services ("Clients"). BeautiFind is not a party to any booking, transaction, or service agreement between Technicians and Clients.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Technician Verification
Technicians must submit verification documents (ID, proof of address, qualifications where applicable). BeautiFind reviews these in good faith but makes no warranty as to a Technician's competence or character. Clients should exercise their own judgment when engaging any Technician.
5. Bookings & Payment
- Clients pay Technicians directly for services rendered, by arrangement between the parties.
- BeautiFind does not currently process payments for services.
- BeautiFind may charge Technicians a platform subscription fee from time to time. Pricing is published on the Technician dashboard.
6. Safety Features
BeautiFind provides safety features (location tracking, emergency button, dual-PIN session verification). These are assistive tools, not guarantees of safety. In an emergency, contact the South African Police Service on 10111 directly.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
- Harass, abuse, or harm any other user
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or BeautiFind systems
8. Termination
BeautiFind may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, BeautiFind is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
